Archaeological Study On The History And Culture Of Yangshao Period In Songluo Area

The purpose of this paper is to construct the historical scale of Yangshao era in Songluo area according to material remains,and to write the cultural history of Yangshao era in Songluo area by means of archaeological cultural concept tools.In this paper,the spatial scope of the research object "Songluo area" is divided into five natural geographical areas: Both sides of the Yellow River that across the West Henan Canyon,the area near Songshan,the Luo River Basin,the Ru River Basin and the upper reaches of Sha River,the Yi River Basin.Then,we analyze the remains of Yangshao era which have been discovered and published in each district.According to the pottery remains of Yangshao era in Songluo area,the history of Yangshao era in Songluo area is divided into 10 sections: The 1-4 segments are in the range 5000 BC to 3950 BC,they are Yangshao's early period;Segment 5 is in the range of 3950BC-3700 BC,is the period of transition from early to middle period in Yangshao era;The 6-7 segments belong to Yangshao middle period,in the range of 3700 BC-3300BC;Segment 8 belongs to the period of transition from middle to late Yangshao period,in the range of 3300BC-3100BC;segments 9-10 belong to Yangshao late period,in the range of 3100BC-2850 BC.There are two main series of archaeological culture in Yangshao era in Songluo area.Series 1 is: Zaoyuan culture Shigu V type(Yangshao 1-3)--Dahe Village II culture(Yangshao 4-5)--Qin Wang Zhai culture(Yangshao 6-10).Series 2 is: Zaoyuan culture Huangpo type(Yangshao 1-3)--Dongzhuang type(Yangshao 4-5)--Miaodigou culture(Yangshao 6-8)--Jiankou culture(Yangshao 9)--Xiwangcun III culture(Yangshao 10).There is no continuous series of archaeological culture in Luo River Basin?Ru River Basin and Yi River Basin,but the Luo River Basin has produced some archaeological culture that was fusion of the two main series of cultural factors in the same period with local characteristics,in Yangshao 5 section is Wangwan I phase I culture,inYangshao 6-7 section is Tonglezhai culture.As for the Series 2,the first stage of Zaoyuan cultural huangpo type is only found in the eastern section of the Yellow River on both sides of the western Henan Canyon,and the second stage of the huangpo type extends to the western section of the Yellow River on both sides of the western Henan CanyonIn;In the period of Dongzhuang type,although some cultural factors from Guanzhong were accepted,the whole was inherited from Zaoyuan culture huangpo type,The power of Dongzhuang type eastward invaded to the Luo River basin,which contributed to the formation of Wangwan I phase I culture,and promoted Wangwan I phase I culture to occupy the Yi River Basin and the Ruhe River Basin,the Dengfeng area near Songshan area.This kind of sphere of influence of series 2 continues to the period of MiaoDiGou culture;after MiaoDiGou culture dies,it is compressed by QinWangZhai culture to the west of the Yellow River on both sides of the western Henan canyon.To sum up,the history of Yangshao era in Songluo area can be divided into 10sections,and the archaeological culture evolved from one line to two main series.The two main series of archeological cultures in Yangshao era in Songluo area are homologous?close neighbours separated only by a strip of water and Harmony symbiosis.The two main lines formed their own???in Songluo area.Series 1 is based on the area near Songshan and series 2 is based on the two sides of the Yellow River in the western Henan Canyon.There is no direct isolation between the two main series,both the eastern section of the Yellow River and the Dengfeng area of the western part of the area near Songshan had distributed archaeological culture belong to series 1 and series 2.The Luo River Basin and the Yi River Basin,which are located between the two bases,have formed a cultural type that combines the cultural features of the two series.
