On The Combination Of Maijishan Mural Art And Animation Activity Image Language

Maijishan grottoes,located in Tianshui,Gansu Province,is one of the four largest Grottoes in China(Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang,Maijishan Grottoes in Tianshui,Yungang Grottoes in Datong and Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang).Compared with the other three grottoes,Maijishan grottoes are the most special and famous for clay sculpture.As an important part of Maijishan grottoes,Maijishan murals also have high artistic achievements and artistic exploration value ? The combination of Maijishan mural art and animation activity image language,with the unique advantages of animation as a new art form in audio-visual,can not only inherit and develop Maijishan Grottoes culture,but also provide new inspiration for the development of China's original animation and inject new blood.This paper mainly analyzes the practical significance,inspiration and thinking of applying Maijishan mural art to the creation of animation short films by the way of animation creation practice and combining with some successful animation cases in this field.
