HSK 6 is the highest level in the HSK,which is very difficult.The foreign students attach great importance to it.The faulty sentence test is the first part of the HSK 6 reading part.Foreign students generally think that faulty sentence test is extremely difficult and they usually get a very low accuracy.According to the literature review,there are many studies on the question types of the faulty sentence test,but few studies on the foreign students' behavior and strategies of preparation for it.This thesis has made a study in this aspect.I have been a teaching assistant at the International Education Institute.During this period,I have observed and tracked the HSK 6 tutoring class and students' preparation for it.I have conducted a questionnaire survey on undergraduate and postgraduate students of South Asian Chinese Teacher Training Grade 2015 and 2016,and interviewed them.80 valid questionnaires for foreign students have been collected.Through surveys and interviews,it is shown: firstly,students all think that the faulty sentence test in HSK 6 is the most difficult.Secondly,different students have different behaviors and strategies for the test and have resulted in different effects.Thirdly,some operational preparation strategies have been put forward.Finally,a post-test and a questionnaire have been conducted to analyze the feasibility and effect of the strategies.There are seven chapters in this article.The first chapter introduces the research goal,significance,HSK 6 and the faulty sentence test in it and literature review.The second chapter is an analysis on the South Asian Teaching Training students' mastery of the different types of the faulty sentence test.The third chapter is to investigate the students' preparation for the test and its effectiveness.The fourth chapter is to analyze the deficiencies in the student preparation process according to the survey.The fifth chapter is the author's suggestive strategies for the test.The sixth Chapter is to analyze the result of the implemented strategy.The seventh Chapter is a summary and reflection on the study.
