Study On Sinicization Of Yunnan Catholic Church

Catholicism was introduced into China from the West,gradually accepted the domestic national culture,integrated with The Catholic culture,and finally established the Chinese Catholicism.As one of the important religions in the West,Catholicism has been spread in Yunnan,Guizhou and other regions for hundreds of years.In the process of research on the Catholic Church,more studies on foreign Catholic churches are conducted,while those on domestic Catholic churches are ignored.Yunnan borders with many countries in the southwest border of China,and there are many ethnic groups in Yunnan.Catholicism is integrated with the culture and society of ethnic groups that believe in Catholicism in Yunnan,which forms the diversity of Catholicism and enriches the religious culture of Yunnan.Catholic church as a Catholic religious buildings,is the place that Catholic believers to participate in religious activities,the process of sinicization of the Catholic church,the religious places inevitable are also changing,which is the Catholic church in China,the Catholic church in China must be an important part of the sinicization of the Catholic church,so for sinicization of the Catholic church in yunnan region in the study,can effectively promote the cultural blend to supplement the research background and the Catholic church in China,the development of related fields have a certain role in promoting.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:First,when Catholicism was introduced into Yunnan,missionaries began to build missionary activity places in different regions in order to spread their religious beliefs.The historical process of Catholic church is closely related to the communication process of Catholicism,and the historical development process of Catholic Church is summarized from the development of Catholicism.Secondly,after Catholicism was introduced into Yunnan,some reforms were carried out to adapt to the local environment.Catholic churches,as places of activities for Catholics,also underwent some changes.Catholic churches in different regions of Yunnan were integrated into the local culture and became the typical architecturecombining Chinese and Western elements.This paper discusses the Sinicization of Yunnan Catholic Church through fieldwork and data collation.Third,the paper discusses the reasons of the sinicization of Yunnan Catholic Church on the material and non-material levels,as well as the cultural value,historical value and scientific value brought by the Sinicization of Yunnan Catholic Church.This paper is divided into five parts: The first chapter is the introduction,which discusses the research background and significance of the Sinicization of Yunnan Catholic Church,as well as the research situation of Yunnan Catholic Church at home and abroad.Through sorting out these contents,the core of this paper is clarified.The second chapter is about Catholicism in Yunnan,which is divided into two parts: the spread and development of Catholicism in Yunnan and the Sinicization of Catholicism in Yunnan;The article briefly combs the process of Catholicism spreading and developing in Yunnan,and briefly narrates the Sinicization of Catholicism and Yunnan Catholicism.According to the further discussion in this chapter,the importance of the study of yunnan Catholic Church is determined.The third chapter is an overview of Yunnan Catholic Church.This chapter combs the development of Yunnan Catholic Church.The fourth chapter is about the Sinicization of yunnan Catholic Church art.This chapter discusses the Sinicization of Yunnan Catholic Church art from the perspective of church art,mainly from three aspects of church architecture,church music and church painting,so as to summarize the Sinicization characteristics of Yunnan Catholic Church art.The fifth chapter is about the Sinicization of yunnan Catholic Church practice.Starting from the practical activities involved in Yunnan Catholic Church,this chapter analyzes the differences in the practical activities involved in Yunnan Catholic Church,so as to summarize the Chinese characteristics of Yunnan Catholic Church practice.Chapter
