Visualization Of Influence Of Chinese Historical Figures

Database storage has become a available method to digitize literatures for literary and historical experts.However,it is difficult for the public to get intuitive information from the database directly.This thesis provides an interactive visualization system that can extract documentation from digital literature,helping the public to understand and study the background information of ancient Chinese historical figures.What's more,it could assist the historian to discover valuable historical information.Taking a dynasty as a platform,our framework combs the relationship between characters,shows the influence of characters effectively,their family and social information.According to this,the influence factors that characters show in society could be better understood.This thesis uses time and place as coordinates to show the distribution of characters' influence in different dynasties and inquire into the development and migration process of character families in different dynasties interactively.
