Geographical indications indicate the origin of the property and its regional characteristics,which is a combination of geographical environment,natural conditions,human factors and historical traditions.At present,people's consumption level and living standard are getting higher and higher,the era of low price and good quality alone is over.People are more willing to choose products with geographical indications,pursue quality and sense of security.The development of geographical indications has been deeply rooted in the hearts of people.Combine regional culture with it,and fusion of modern visual way to inheritance.With geographical indications as the center,regional culture as the starting point,regional cultural symbols as the source,regional culture and geographical indications are combined to design geographical indications of symbolic regional culture,so as to achieve the brand study of "landmark".A large number of materials are read,searched,investigated and analyzed.The regional culture,symbols,geographical indications are disassembled and analyzed one by one.Through case studies,it is found that the symbolic form of geographical indications can extract the local landmark architectural landscape into symbols and use the combination of local representative colors;according to the combination of geomorphic features and natural features and culture;according to the regional name,it can be Chinese or Pinyin and combine the regional features to transform into symbols;there are also local celebrities or myths.We can get understand and deeply analyze the inner meaning of each clue,explore its innovation and practical application value,and finally provide a strong basis for our own creation.The design purpose and concept of regional cultural symbols in geographical indications are to promote local economy,protect regional culture and geographical products,and realize the purpose value with geographical indications.Apply to practical design works through theoretical research,Geographical indication combined with regional cultural symbols is also a form of expression adapted to modern visual communication.
