As a precious intangible cultural heritage,Beijing brick carving is an important part of Beijing's traditional architectural culture and a representative of the "smart work" in Chinese traditional carving art.It embodies the craftsmanship of excellence and profound historical and cultural heritage.Beijing brick carving is also the only brick carving technique in my country that retains the entire process of hand-carving.It has the typical characteristics of family inheritance and is the most dazzling school in the Chinese brick carving school.In the context of my country's intangible cultural heritage protection for nearly two decades,Beijing brick carving has been able to return to the world's attention.From the perspective of the protection of intangible cultural heritage,systematically presenting the past,present and future of Beijing brick carvings is the original intention and intention of the problem solved in this article,in order to provide theoretical support and practical basis for the inheritance and development of this technique.Based on the intangible cultural heritage,this paper combs the historical development and inheritance of Beijing brick carving through field research and comparative research,and details the process and lineage of Beijing brick carving.The phenomena found in it summed up the non-legacy inheritance law of Beijing brick carvings,and put forward the concept of "inheritance time and space",focusing on the discussion of the inheritance and protection of Beijing brick carvings in the context of the protection of China's intangible cultural heritage.Inheritance and development status,and put forward specific solutions to existing problems.
