Study On The Music Life Of Hankow Concession

This paper takes the music activities in the Hankou concession as the research object,discusses the specific music activities in the Hankou concession since the establishment of the concession in Hankou,the relationship between the establishment of the concession and the Hankou music activities.Trying to answer: What nature of the concession,management mechanisms,and institutions have prompted these musical events to emerge and prosper within the concession.The introduction part consists of the reason and purpose of the selected topic,the research status and the discovery of the problem,research methods and research ideas.Analysis of this article focuses on the issues that need to be addressed.The foreword is a brief introduction to the background of the Hankou Concession,a brief introduction to the geographical location,existence time and mechanism of the concession.The four chapters of the text are from the traditional music activities in the concession,the music activities influenced by Western culture,the anti-war music activities in the concession,and the Hankou concession music activities under the influence of the Shanghai concession.This analyzes the relationship between the concession and these musical activities.The author believes that the emergence of the Hankou Concession has not only enriched the musical life of this area,traditional music coexisted with Western music at the same time,and Chinese and Western music exchanged and integrated within the concession.Moreover,the emergence of the concession has also promoted the process of urbanization in Hankou.
