The Relationship Between Personality And Life Satisfaction Of Menopausal Professional Women

With economic development and social progress,women have become an indispensable part of the work group and play an important role in social and economic development.However,professional women,especially menopausal women,face a severe test in modern society.Not only do they face tremendous pressure from work and society,but they also endure the severe test of psychology and physiology from a special period.Under the dual pressures of social and family concern and care,physical and psychological pressure,menopausal women are prone to personality abnormalities and low life satisfaction,and need timely and effective psychological intervention and emotional counseling.In order to explore the problems in the personality characteristics and life satisfaction of menopausal professional women,this study selected 500 qualified menopausal women across the country to conduct a questionnaire survey,a total of 499 valid questionnaires.The Big Five Personality Scale,the Comprehension Social Support Scale,and the Life Satisfaction Scale were used for testing,followed by SPSS 25.0 for data processing and analysis.The results are as follows:(1)The overall level of personality characteristics of menopausal professional women is relatively average,and the level of pleasantness and conscientiousness is relatively high.From the perspective of distribution trends,the trend of neurotic distribution is on a high trend,and the number of people with low levels of extroversion and openness is high.(2)Menopausal professional women have a better overall level of social support.Among them,the level of support from friends is higher,but the level of family support and other support is lower,indicating that menopausal women think they are more supportive and assisted from friends.(3)The overall level of life satisfaction of menopausal professional women is moderate,but the distribution of their numbers shows a balanced situation at both ends.The proportion of people with lower than normal life satisfaction was 45.7%;the number of people satisfied with life accounted for 47.3%,indicating that nearly half of the menopausal women in the group were not satisfied with the current life.(4)In addition to neuroticism,menopausal professional women with different levels of life satisfaction showed significant differences in personality characteristics.Individuals with higher levels of extroversion,openness,amenity and conscientiousness have higher levels of life satisfaction.(5)Among the small-scale menopausal professional women,individuals with different levels of life satisfaction also showed differences in the personality characteristics of neuroticism,and individuals with higher neuroticism had lower levels of life satisfaction.(6)Menopausal women with different levels of life satisfaction showed significant differences in comprehending social support.Comprehend individuals with higher levels of social support and higher levels of life satisfaction.(7)In addition to neuroticism,personality characteristics of menopausal professional women are significantly positively correlated with life satisfaction levels and comprehension of social support.The higher the level of extroversion,openness,amenity and conscientiousness,the higher the level of individual life satisfaction and the level of perceived social support.(8)Menopausal professional women have a significant positive correlation between social support and life satisfaction.The higher the perceived social support,the higher the individual life satisfaction.(9)The two personality characteristics of menopausal professional women's openness and conscientiousness will significantly positively affect their life satisfaction.That is,the higher the openness and conscientiousness of menopausal professional women,the more satisfied they are with life.(10)Menopausal professional women comprehend social support will have an impact on the life satisfaction of menopausal professional women.Among them,friend support and other support will significantly affect their life satisfaction.The higher the support and other support of menopausal professional women who understand social support,the more satisfied they are to life.(11)Openness In the process of affecting life satisfaction,comprehending social support plays a full mediating effect.That is,in the process of affecting the life satisfaction of menopausal professional women,openness can not directly affect the impact,and must be influenced by comprehending social support.(12)Responsibility In the process of affecting life satisfaction,comprehending social support plays a part in mediating effect.That is,in the process of affecting the life satisfaction of menopausal professional women,due diligence plays a part of the influence,and part of the role is influenced by comprehending social support.
