The Research Of Narrative Strategies In Local Food Feature Films

The paper focuses on the topic of “narrative strategies of local food feature films” and uses case analysis and field research to study.This paper is divided into seven parts,namely,introduction,an overview of narratology and narrative research of feature films,Analysis of the narrative material selection of “Traditional Breakfast in Chengdu”,the narrative perspective of “Traditional Breakfast in Chengdu”,the narrative structure of “Traditional Breakfast in Chengdu”,the narrative language of “Traditional Breakfast in Chengdu”,and conclusion.The first part introduces the research background,the current situation of the research and the research content,the research method and the innovation point.The second part explains the theories of narratology and the theory of narrative research in feature films.The third part is the theme selection analysis of my graduation work “Traditional Breakfast in Chengdu”.Narrative themes,creative team values,and space-time locations can all influence narrative selection.The fourth part of the thesis will analyze the narrative perspective of“Traditional Breakfast in Chengdu”,The feature film uses two perspectives: zero focus and internal focus,they cross-push the plot.The fifth part analyzes the narrative structure of“Traditional Breakfast in Chengdu”,which is also the innovation of this feature film.The feature film uses plate side-by-side.Each episode uses a centerline series narrative structure.This centerline is "Looking Back: A Review of Local History by Food," "Showing the Present:Reflecting the Local Food Culture," and "Expecting the Future: Finding a Way Out of Traditional Food." The sixth part analyzes the narrative language of “Traditional Breakfast in Chengdu”,that is,the audio-visual language of the film,and the part disassembles the film into two aspects: sound and picture.The screen section focuses on the analysis of the warm tones and macro lenses used in the film,while the sound section is carried out from the voiceover of the commentary and the presenter.The seventh part is the conclusion,which summarizes the content of the whole text.
