Research On The Application Of Ancient Stories In Screenwriting

In today's era,the globalization–brought diversified world cultural pattern can be said both a good opportunity and one challenge.Strengthening the soft power of national culture is the only way of development.Therefore,constantly creating new works that embody the vitality of Chinese culture is an inevitable requirement for Chinese stories to inherit traditional culture,embody national characteristics and enhance the soft power of culture?With the all-embracing Chinese traditional cultures,a variety of ancient-book stories can be said one inexhaustible source and a seldom-encountered treasury of knowledge of creating Chinese stories.As the media of spreading national spirits and national cultures,film and TV drama has been increasingly a proposition of the times by applying diversified ancient-book stories to practical creations of film and television scripts and well telling Chinese stories in combination with the present era.And this paper made further interpretations via the following four aspects.Chapter One briefly described these ancient-book stories and corresponding cultural ideas.Chapter Two presented the fact that ancient-book story is one better source of script creation,as well as briefly analyzed rich philosophy thoughts therein,diversified contemporary values and aesthetics in practical creations of film and television scripts.Chapter Three further described various portrays of the characters of ancient-book stories within those film and television dramas.And based on the fact that their main bodies are characters,it further expounded the creations and deductions of these characters from the perspective of traditional culture.Chapter Four further presented the diversified and nationalized narrations of ancient-book stories in these dramas.And it further pointed out the key to well tell Chinese stories from the perspective of traditional culture by engraving the traditional cultures of ancient-book stories into the current film and TV dramas to well deal with the interactions and integrations of traditional scenarios and ancient-book stories.
