Bangladesh is a relatively young Muslim country in South Asia with a high population density and a special geographical location.The Bangladesh Awami League is the country's founding party and also the ruling party at present.Nowadays,family politics in Bangladesh still has a deep influence and the confrontation and struggle between the Bangladesh Awami League and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party continues.There are deep historical reasons behind the troubled democratic process of Bangladesh and the chaotic party politics after the restoration of democracy.Exploring the history of the development of the Bangladesh Awami League may help us to see them.Bangladesh is an Islamic country with a long history and rich national culture.The establishment and development of the Bangladesh Awami League is a historical process of the development and rise of nationalism in Bangladesh.The purposes of this paper are analysis the development law of The Bangladesh Awami League and to give a better understanding of today's political situation in Bangladesh through the study of the background of the establishment and the early development of the party,and the Bangladesh Awami League during the Mujibur period.After becoming a part of Pakistan,the Bangladesh nationalist intellectuals who desire for the establishment of their own independent state by Lahore Resolution feel disappointed.Coupled with the unfair treatment of Pakistan authorities on East Pakistan and the rapid decline of the Muslim League,the Bangladesh Awami League emerges.From 1949 to 1975,the development of Bangladesh nationalist forces and' strive for national independence eventually make Bangladesh out of Pakistan.The Bangladesh Awami League became the largest party after the founding of Bangladesh.Although the Bangladesh Awami League won an absolute victory in the general election afterwards,the party did not go out of the way of the Muslim league and decline rapidly.Even the founding father,Mujibur,was assassinated by a military coup,which is relatively rare in the history of modern world politics.At that time,the radical political struggle of the Bangladesh Awami League is still visible in today's Bangladesh politics.
