In this paper, with the help of Max weber' s "concept-interest" double drive model, through the case study method and qualitative data analysis, for love and companionship of Changsha(here in after referred to as "Changsha love and companionship all)volunteer charity drive mechanism for understanding.First of all, this paper introduces the case from four aspects:development process, organizational structure, daily activities and volunteer culture.Secondly, starting from weber' s "idea",this paper finds that the concept guiding Changsha' s love and accompanying volunteers to make voluntary actions is not the salvation idea that weber refers to,but the spiritual idea. The concept includes respect for life, the dissemination of virtue, and civic awareness. In this paper, starting from the "interest" of weber, then explains the Changsha love to do volunteer work with volunteers after the innterests is not referred to in weber' s "spiritual interest"and "material interest",but the spiritual interests, abilities, interests and relations, and material interests can be ignored. Finally, this paper discusses the concept of spirituality. The volunteer action by Changsha love and accompanying volunteers is an extreme devotion and interest to charity, and it also helps to develop the potential of volunteers.Volunteers have found a firm belief in the concept of good in the volunteer action, and found the meaning and value of life, free from the bondage of worldly fame and wealth and towards higher freedom. In this paper, more empirical studies are needed to verify the interpretation of the analytical framework established by the volunteer action of love and accompanying volunteers in Changsha.Through the study on the case of love and company in Changsha, the author hopes to provide some help for the research of volunteer action of non-governmental public welfare organizations.
