| Since the reform and opening up,China's socialist modernization has entered a new historical period.It is of both theoretical and practical significance to re-discuss the correct handling of contradictions among the people in this new historical period.It is closely related to China's overall reform,development and stability,and is still related to the overall layout of China's socialist modernization.Its importance lies in that it is not only the eternal theme of our party's and countrys political life,but also the basic work of promoting social harmony.It's also related to the central topic of people's yearning for a better life and the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The establishment of this theory has a very unique historical context.Our task changed from revolution to construction.With the completion of China's three major socialist transformations,the socialist contradictions and construction have entered a new period.Mao Zedong published On Correctly Handling Contradictions among the People in 1957.He explicitly put forward a complete theory of two contradictions of different nature for the first time,which not only enriched and developed the Marxist theory of social contradictions,but also laid a theoretical foundation for solving contradictions among the people in the new era.However,this theory has not been well implemented and has undergone tortuous practice.Only later did Deng Xiaoping reestablish the correct handling of contradictions among the people.Since then the successive leaders have attached great importance to this question,making this theory glow with new light in the new era.Great changes have taken place in various fields such as economy,politics,culture since China implemented the reform and opening up in 1978.The contradictions among the people in the new era have gradually produced new features such as prominent contradictions in material interests,prominent contradictions between human beings and the ecological environment,and qualitative changes in the nature of contradictions.In addition,the convening of the 19th national congress has provided us with new guiding ideology and methodological principles.Therefore,we should adhere to the new development concept in dealing with contradictions among the people,take the construction of a harmonious socialist society as the goal and destination,and take the vital interests of the people as the starting point and the foothold of these three methodological principles.The specific methods include deepening the reform in an all-round way,strengthening the party's self-construction and ideological and political work,implementing the policy of governing the country by law and morality simultaneously,strengthening the construction of a harmonious socialist culture,strengthening the ecological construction,and establishing a long-term mechanism for contradictions among the people so as to better and more effectively solve the contradictions among the people in our society,so that more people can better and fully enjoy the dividends brought about by our country's reform and realize the great rejuvenation of our Chinese nation as soon as possible.Although this issue is very important,from the present point of view,most of the current research is still in the early stage of the establishment of contradictions among the people.Moreover,the current research is based on some sociological phenomena and examples to discuss contradictions among the people,which is not profound enough.Based on this research situation at home and abroad,this paper makes a simple combing of contradictions among the people from the perspective of the localization of Marxism in China,and through various phenomena of social contradictions,explores the root causes of contradictions,hoping to inspire the settlement of increasingly complicated contradictions in today's times,especially contradictions among the people,so as to better carry out the socialist modernization construction. |
