Study On The Basic Connotation Of Gentleman Ideal Of Confucian Analects And Its Contemporary Value In The Perspective Of Marxism

China is a country that has accumulated thousands of years of culture and it supported by moralism and moral ideal.The ethical wisdom and moral ideal in Chinese traditional culture are the spiritual carriers,which can survive and continue the Chinese nation.It is also the cultural elements that can unite the national forces.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out many times that implementing the strategy of governing the country with ethics and fostering and promoting the core values of socialism must base ourselves on the fine traditional Chinese culture and conscientiously tap and analyze the outstanding moral ideas in traditional culture,and explores the value of the times of talking about benevolence,Integrity,integrity and justice,harmony and unity,so that Chinese excellent traditional culture can become an important source of conservation of the core values of socialism.The Analects of Confucius is a model of Confucianism and even in Chinese culture.And it is an important part of Chinese traditional ethics and culture.Among them,the concept of a gentleman is the moral ideal and code of conduct which is advocated by the traditional "scholar doctor" and Chinese society for thousands of years.Its main idea is to construct a "gentleman's personality" with the kernel which contains the perfect unity of the virtues of benevolence,righteousness,ritual,wisdom and belief,which is the ideal personality advocated and respected by the Confucianists."Gentleman personality" is an inherent moral requirement and it is the moral quality that ordinary people need to work hard to "deserve".Confucianism takes the gentleman's personality as an example of moral perfection and pays attention to personal morality and personality cultivation,which is inherently consistent with the moral education we advocated today.From the perspective of Marxist values,this essay expounds the contemporary value of the thought of gentlemen 's concept and mainly elaborates the "gentleman' s personality" and the methods of its formation through the review and research on the thoughts of "gentlemen” on the Analects of Confucius.It further points out that the inheritance and promotion of outstanding traditional culture,including "gentlemen's view",which will strengthen our cultural confidence and cultural awareness.It not only provides enlightenment textbooks and becomes an effective approach for contemporary ethics,but also plays an important role on enlightenment and reference for building a harmonious society and practicing the core values of socialism.
