Research On The Object Of Property Crime

The crime against property is the title of chapter 5 of the special provisions of the criminal law.This chapter provides for the crime of theft,robbery,extortion,misappropriation of certain items and other crimes against property.Most objects of the charges are directed at property.It seems that the "property" is the object of property crime in the eyes of the legislator.However,with the development of social economy,the types of property becoming more and more diverse,and the property relationship becoming more and more complex.Simply using the term property to summarize the object of property crime has not been able to meet the needs of current theoretical research and judicial practice.It is necessary to classify the object of property crime and clarify the connotation and extension of each property.In order to achieve the goal,first of all,this paper determines the protected benefits of property crime,the Property crime in the criminal law of China not only protects ownership and other rights,but also protects possession to a certain extent.On this basis,taking research on the classification of property,discussing the concept and characteristics of Property,property interest,network virtual property,contraband,stolen goods and the feasibility of becoming the object of property crime.I hope this paper would provide a strong reference to the judicial practice.
