The Study On Horticultural Healing Landscape Planning In Southern Pension Institutions

With the development of the national economy,people’s demand for quality of life is getting higher.A lot of landscape environment can’t meet all kinds of physiological needs and spiritual needs of different social groups,especially the elderly population over 60 years old.Some old people’s needs of the elderly can’t be fully met because of changes in the structure of old-age pensions,so they have to stay in pension institutions.Because of all kinds of social and self-pressure such as widowhood,ailments and mobility problems,this part of the elderly urgently need a living environment that can regulate physical and mental health and relieve stress and have healing effects.Constructing healing landscapes that can facilitate the physical and mental health of users is a favorable factor to promote the harmonious development of the society.The establishment of horticultural healing landscapes in pension institutions not only beautifies the environment,but also meets the needs of the old,so that they can accomplish the final spurt of life actively.It is the responsibility and duty of every Chinese child to have a better life for the old.Based on the above circumstances,combining the basic influencing factors of landscape planning for the elderly in nursing homes,the article taking the needs preferences of the elderly as a reference conducted an overall and systematic study of the landscapes of the nursing homes for horticultural healing.Then the empirical investigation conducted an evidence-based examination of the research results,thus proposed suggestions and methods for landscape planning and design of nursing homes.The main contents of the study include:(1)Carding the relevant theories and domestic and foreign research on pension institutions and gardening healing landscapes,and defining the related concepts and scope of research.In this paper,the concept of landscape healing is defined as,the landscape is that Rely on the user’s"five sensations" to support the landscape,and borrow certain design techniques,built artificially and attract users to use and enhance the health of users.(2)Studying user preferences.Taking Fuzhou as an example,we conducted observations and interviews on 200 samples and collected 100 valid questionnaires,and analyzed the behavior preferences of the elderly and satisfaction preferences of horticultural landscapes in pension institutions.It was found that the landscape elements and principles of pension institutions should be diversified.The horticultural healing landscape elements of the pension diversified should also conform the principles of locality,positiveness,and met the psychology of "elderly learning and learning" of the elderly;In addition,factors,such as air quality,soil environment,water,and convenience of transportation within and around the facility,can also affected satisfaction and use of horticultural healing landscapes in pension institutions for the elderly.(3)Constructing pension institution gardening healing landscape planning elements system.Through the dynamics,integrity and relevance of gardening healing landscapes,we took a systematic study of the landscape planning for the rehabilitation of pension institutions.combining with references,previous research results,expert selection and supplementation,we had resulted in a landscape healing planning system within the pension institution.The system contained 20 elements and 17 principles.(4)Based on the elemental system,an empirical survey and analysis was conducted on the horticultural healing landscape of pension institutions.Through the empirical research on the landscape of the five pension institutions in Fuzhou,the author finally got the results that the safety of landscape healing(excluding plant safety factors),attractiveness(all factors)and cultural characteristics(all factors)had a significant positive correlation with the satisfaction of the horticulture treatment of pension institutions for users;We also used the integrated value method to research the plants with higher comprehensive value in the research area detailedly.It was found that many plants have different landscape values in their individual landscape performance and community landscape performance through investigation.For example,plant species such as dragons(Dimocarpus longan Lour.)planted together were more valuable than those planted alone.Gardenia(Gardenia jasminoides Ellis)and sweet-scented osmanthus(Osmanthus fragrans(Thunb.)Lour.)planted alone were more valuable than those planted together.(5)Through the preliminary study,this research analyzed the objectives of landscape planning for landscape healing in southern pension institutions,and summed up the linkages and impacts between the elements of planning for landscape healing in pension institutions,Based on the research results,this paper proposes the design suggestions and methods for the landscape planning of the southern pension institutions,and provided scientific and effective theoretical guidance and reference for the construction of landscape healing in the pension institutions in the future.
