How To Break Through The Network Of Power-Benefit Structure

Facing tansitional chinese society,everything is in rapid change.as a microcosmic foundation for exploring social structure and transformation,the network of power-benefit structure within rural communities is the basic point to explore and understand how the rural society change and why it change.This research breaks through the static analysis and the presentation of the framework,the researcher enters the L village of the industrial transformation.Through the analysis of events,it dynamically looks at and presents the process of the change and breakthrough of the network of power-benefit structure.Through research,this paper finds that the network of power-benefit structure of L village mainly presents two kinds of breakthrough changes inside and outside.The external breakthrough is mainly manifested in the infiltration of superior power.In the process of infiltration,the initial inequalities between town-level power and village-level power resulted in unbalanced job responsibilities and physical and psychological experiences.When town-level power representatives have used the two strategies of“absorb”and“repel”to mitigate this unbalanced state,however,it brings unintended consequences—the further infiltration of superior authority.The underlying reason for this unintended consequence lies in the conflict between the “identity” and “power” of the action subject in the practical awareness.Internal breakthroughs are mainly presented as the emergence of village “new roles”.Their status in the network of structure and the degree of breakthrough in the network of structure have different manifestations due to the differences in the processes that they have produced and their responsibilities.This type of performance is mainly expressed as the two dimensions of“work”and“identity”.The contradiction between the“core areas of work”and the “non-core areas of identity” in the dimension has caused the two sides of the “new role”.Through the above discussion of the two breakthroughs,to some extent,this paper has realized the analysis of the process of the change of the network of power-benefit structure under the transformation of the village industrial structure.
