The Research On The Application Of Cultural Relics In National Defense Education

National defense education is closely related to the foundation and future of a country.Cultural relics are an important carrier of national defense education.Chinese cultural relics are plentiful,but few of them are applied systematically to national defense education.The main purpose of this paper is trying to study the application of cultural relics in national defense education,and taking Xiamen city as an example.It also aimed at finding the existing problems of the application of cultural relics in national defense education by means of questionnaires and interviews.The significance of this paper is doing preliminary theoretical research on the application of cultural relics in national defense education,enriching the related theoretical research,summarizing the function and theoretical basis of the application of cultural relics in national defense education,and promoting the theoretical construction of national defense education discipline system.This study reveals that the application of cultural relics in national defense education is relatively limited,mainly due to the lack of national policies and regulations,the weakness of social consciousness,and the lack of scientific research in national defense education of colleges and universities.Taking Xiamen city as an example,the corresponding solutions that are proposed in this study to solve these problems from three aspects:the country,the society and schools.Firstly,the country needs to make the overall planning and the control strategies,including the development of relevant laws and policies and establishing specialized cultural relics database.Secondly,it is important to increase the application of cultural relics in the society in national defense education,including using the form of red tourism in order to carry out national defense education activities by using cultural relics.Thirdly,it is necessary to strengthen the application of cultural relics in national defense education in schools.It includes that writing books of cultural relics in national defense education for students of different age,etc.
