Research On The Influence Mechanism Of Interest Groups On The Legislative Decision-Making Of Supranational Institutions

Researches on interest groups always been a subject with much concern in academia.Interest groups is an important part of Western political life and its influence on politics has been widely recognized by people.Without understanding the influence of interest groups on politics,it is difficult to fully understand the operation and development of Western politics.However,scholars mostly prefer the research of interest groups at the national level,rather than the supranational level.Actually,interest groups played an important role in the process of supranational institutions.And it has great significance to analyze this research.Take the European Union as an example.The EU,which has 28 countries and more than 500 million people,is the most highly integrated supranational institution in the world,now playing an important role in world affairs.The legislative decisionmaking activities of EU also drawn the attention of world.While there is not much research on EU interest groups.With the development of EU,interest groups are changing their characters in the legislative decision-making activities of EU.Foreign scholars pay more attention to the research on interest groups participating in EU legislative decision-making than our country,especially the analysis on theoretical level.What kinds of methods that EU interest groups use to influence EU legislation and complete interest coordination activities on EU-level? What is the interaction between them and the EU's decision-making system? The answers of these questions are very helpful in exploring and resolving the operational mechanism of interest groups in supranational institutions.This paper tries to use the explanations of interest group theory and supranational theory to analyze the situations of them.And find the multiple variables in these two parts to explain the interaction between interest groups and legislative decisions.At the same time to explore the influence mechanism of interest groups in the legislative decision-making in the field of trade.Through the study to provide some useful suggestions in the trade friction between China and the EU.
