The System Of Criminal Witness Protection

Witness is the key to finding or finding the truth in criminal cases,and also a special group in society.The testimony of the witness is the kind of evidence stipulated in the criminal procedure law of China,which is beneficial to the effective and accurate identification of the cases,the improvement of the applicability and authority of the law,the maintenance of human rights and the realization of judicial fairness and justice.Witness protection system is a special protection system to prevent witnesses from being infringed.The establishment and improvement of witness protection system is also a special need to combat organized crime.Nowadays,many countries have implemented witness protection laws and regulations,and established witness protection system,but our relevant legal system is still relatively scarce.The purpose of this study is to analyze the existing problems in the implementation of the witness protection system in the H County of Yunnan province through the study of the more mature witness protection system abroad and the practice of judicial practice in the H County of Yunnan Province,and put forward some perfect countermeasures and suggestions on the basis of the present situation,so as to better realize the protection of human rights.This article consists of the following parts:The first part: discusses the criminal witness protection system.This paper discusses the background,concept,theoretical support and significance of the system in order to treat the criminal witness protection system objectively.The second part: combining the Anglo-American law system and the civil law system of criminal witness protection system,analyzes and summarizes the experience of other countries and regions to bring inspiration to our country.The third part introduces the relevant regulations and problems of the protection system of criminal witnesses in our country.The fourth part introduces the practice of criminal witness protection system in H County,Yunnan Province.The fifth part: to improve the system of criminal witness protection in H County,Yunnan Province.
