Study On Implementing The Independent Insurance Agent System On Our Country

Our country's insurance industry has developed rapidly since its reform and opening up,and it has played an important role in social stability and economic development.Since the implementation of the insurance agent system in1992,it has played an important role in increasing employment,promoting the development of the insurance industry,and ensuring social stability.In recent years,with the development of the insurance industry and the improvement of national insurance awareness,due to its low threshold,rapid increase of staff,high turnover rate,and low general quality,the insurance agent system has obvious drawbacks and has been unable to adapt to the rapid development of China's insurance industry.In 2015,the China Insurance Regulatory Commission proposed the “Opinions on Deepening the Reform of Insurance Intermediary Markets” and explicitly proposed a pilot of insurance independent agent system.Then the study of the characteristics of the independent agent system and the successful implementation of an independent agent system in China become an urgent issue.Based on the defects of the existing insurance agent system and the characteristics of the independent agent system,the article analyzes and studies the influence of the implementation of the independent agent system on the insurance company,the CIRC,the insurance applicant and the salesperson.Taking the United States,Japan and the United Kingdom as examples,elaborated on the implementation of the insurance agent system and the role and status of the independent agent system in its insurance agency system,as well as their implications for China's pilot insurance independent agent system.In the fourth chapter,a case study method was used and has selected the T insurance agency company as the example of the implementation of the independent agent system,from the company's agent training,business development and services provided to study the features of independent agent system in our country.Finally,the dissertation gives opinions on the implementation of the independent agent system from four aspects: legislation,system,supervision,and industry self-discipline.The research results of the thesis indicate that due to the limited conditions of the current insurance market in China,the implementation of the independent agent system in China still faces many difficulties that need to be solved.
