Commanding process is a kind of "conjunction","artery" and "enhancer" for the combat command and control system,and is the key link to improve the operational capability of command and control system.It has direct influences on the coordination efficiency between the commanding departments,on the cooperation coherence between the combat units,and ultimately causes impacts on the effectiveness of overall combat systems.This dissertation,based on the multi-functional support force fire brigade of the US Army during its modularizing reformation since 2012,researches on the commanding process issues,focusing on three aspects of military combat forces analysis,in modeling framework,simulation scheduling,and effectiveness evaluation.This analysis is expected to be able to provide useful references to the reestablishment and reformation of the PLA.The main contributions of this dissertation includes:(1)Constructs the modeling framework of command and control process of the US Army fire brigadeBased on the analysis of the overall situation,basic organization,command and control workflow characteristics,model and simulation requirements of the US Army fire brigades,a modeling framework of command and control process was constructed in three aspects of command and control workflow purpose,functional allocation,and process activities.Then seven types of model were established,including task goal model,enterprise organization model,function and work meta-model,process structure model,process situation,processes relationship model,and activities relationship model.(2)Designs a simulation analysis scheme and a process optimization approach for the command and control process of US Army fire brigade.Based on the analysis of the characteristics and the simulation requirements of the US Army fire brigades,a simulation project was designed with its simulation purpose,simulation experiment schedule,and process optimization framework.An evaluation index series to measure the effectiveness of command and control workflow was proposed,and a process nodes oriented optimization algorithm and a resource deployment and capability oriented optimization algorithm are presented.(3)Proposes a sensitivity analysis method for simulation results of command and control workflowFocusing on the example of the command and control process of US Army fire brigade,a simulation system to simulate the command and control process of US Army fire brigade was built based on Plant Simulation software.The simulation results were made to do sensitivity analysis in terms of process running time,resource utilization efficiency and activity efficiency evaluation index.
