Study On The Inventory Management And Control Over The Logistical Material For The Grass-roots Troops

Logistical support not only acts as a lifeline for the military troops,but also lays a solid foundation for the completion of other activities and tasks.Troops usually set up the separate logistics warehouse to store relevant logistical materials according to the military readiness requirements as well as responding various emergencies.However,it is not realistic to store unlimited materials due to the status of limited fund and warehouse space.How to use limited warehouse space and certain sum of fund to maximize the logistical support to the troops,a useful way is to establish an effective management and control over the logistical inventories.For a long time previously,troops usually managed the logistical inventory based on the daily experience,which not only lasts long cycle,but also lacked systematic and scientific strength.Such mode could not guarantee the dynamic inventory movement,also affected the efficiency and effectiveness of the logistical function.By learning and summarizing the existed theory,combining the actual inventory management situation as well as considering the requirements and regulations about military daily readiness and wartime logistical support,this thesis mainly optimized the design about the resources of the logistical warehouse,also developed a set of relative scientific management plans over the logistical inventory.The thesis generally covers the following parts: characteristics about the inventory management of the logistical warehouse for the grass-roots troops,issues existed currently,classifying the logistical materials and managing with priorities,predicating the demands by identifying the periodical materials from the non-periodical ones,establishing the single distributed inventory model with horizontal transfer function,to realize the separation between the information flow and the material flow then build up an optimizing inventory management model applicable to the troops.In the meantime,the thesis also covers the evaluation and assessment about the above-mentioned model's utility and effectiveness.
