The Influence Of Family Property On Marriage Disputes

As a basic part of social structure,internal relationship between families is directly related to people's sense of happiness,and has a significant impact on social stability and development.As the core part of family relations,the harmonious coexistence between husband and wife is the key factor to improve life satisfaction and promote social harmony.In recent years,with the rapid progress of the economy,people's material life has been improved greatly,but at the same time,the divorce rate is rising constantly,the fact that divorce rate is on such a high level not only shows more and more marital disputes existing,but also reflects the strong impact of China's traditional family culture is being.It's worthy of further study.Previous studies on family economic status and divorce mostly focused on income,and few studies have focused on marital stress.This article takes married couples who already have marital disputes as their research object,and analyzes whether family property will intensify marital disputes and the influencing mechanism between them.Based on the divorce documents on China Judgements Online,this paper discusses the characteristics of couples who produce marital disputes through the excavation of text data and the use of machine learning methods.And then we analyzes the impact of family property on the resistance to marriage.The main content is divided into two parts.Firstly,TF-IDF and Lasso algorithms are used to extract features that affect judgment result of the court.The thematic digs of divorce judgments are realized.Then,the divorce judgments are structured and a keywords-matching method is used to extract the basic characteristics of these couples,family property,parenting,court decisions,and direct divorce reasons.Finally,Logit model is used to verify the impact of family property on marital disputes with that judiciary verdict is used to measure the ability of marriage resistance.And then the heterogeneity and influencing mechanisms are analyzed.The study found that,(1)The impact of financial assets(including debt,deposits and other financial products)on marital disputes is greater than that of physical assets(including real estate and vehicles),and its estimated results are also more significant.(2)According to heterogeneity analysis,the impact of financial products on marital disputes is not significant in young group after 1980.There are also significant differences between real estate and vehicle on wives and husbands.(3)The husband-wife interaction,external uncertainty and spouse substitutability caused by property play an important role in regulating family property and marriage resistance.The disagreement between wife and husband due to differences in the concept of family property distribution is the main cause of property disputes.As basis for a stable family,the house helps ease the divorce caused by “long-term separation” and “abandoning the family” on the one hand;on the other hand,it also increases the couple's contradictions,such as the post-70 s and post-60 s,where family wealth is abundant.
