A Study On The Implementation Of Marriage Law In Southwest China In The Early Days Of The Founding Of The People's Republic Of China

The promulgation and implementation of the Marriage Law of the peopleundefineds Republic of China in May 1950 was one of the means by which the Communist Party of China completed the new democratic transformation in the early days of the founding of New China.Under the complex ideological and social background at that time,the promulgation of the Marriage Law was placed on the new government to promote land reform economically,to remove the feudal concept of marriage and family ideologically,and to strengthen the peopleundefineds political identity from the political perspective.Therefore,the implementation of marriage law has special political significance in the special historical period,which is obviously not limited to the innovation of the legal system.In order to solve the "old-style" social problems of the peopleundefineds Republic of China through the enactment and implementation of the Marriage Law,form a political identity with the Communist Party of China,and strengthen social integration,the CPC Central Committee issued numerous instructions after the promulgation of the Marriage Law.All regions were required to carry out the campaign month of carrying out the Marriage Law.Since then,the implementation of the Marriage Law has reached its climax in all parts of the country.As a new liberated area,the Communist Party of China has weak administrative power,poor cadre foundation and low consciousness of the masses in southwest China,so it is more difficult to carry out the marriage law work than the old liberated area.On the basis of sorting out and analyzing archives and newspapers and periodicals,this paper chooses to carry out an objective historical investigation on the implementation of the Marriage Law in Southwest China,which is of typical significance in the early days of the founding of New China.This paper points out the revolutionary influence of marriage legislation in the early days of the founding of New China on the southwest region,analyzes on the difficulties faced by the implementation movement of the marriage law in the southwest region,and objectively evaluates the role of "mass line" in the implementation of the marriage law.Taking this as a clue to sort out the propaganda means and judicial practice form of implementing the marriage law in the southwest region in the early days of the founding of New China,and objectively evaluate its effect,thus revealing that the CPC and the new regime take marriage and family as the breakthrough point.Behind the various social reforms and reform campaigns,the historical theme of reshaping the new social order was shouldered,and the historical limitations of the implementation of the marriage law in southwest China were objectively analyzed.This paper points out the reform of marriage legislation and the new problems in carrying out the movement,and analyses the internal logic of marriage and social change under the guidance of law.
