Taiwan's Indigenous Movement From The Perspective Of Political System Theory(1983-2018)

The Taiwan Indigenous Movement is a social movement in which Taiwan's indigenous people seek to improve their economic and political status.Accompanied by the indigenous movement's development,the social force in the indigenous movement also grows and matures,simultaneously,which in turn promotes the development of the indigenous movement,it's called the social force of Taiwan Indigenous Movement.In the process of Taiwan Indigenous Movement,how to transform political demands into the authorities'policy,and what is the actual effect of the movement?In order to analyze these problems,the present study attempts to research the interaction between the social force of Indigenous Movement and the Taiwan political system from the perspective of political system theory.The study found that there are four potential paths in the interaction:Firstly,the movement's force enters political demands to the system through the party's negative control;Secondly,in the process of political system conversion,the movement's force manufactures"controversies",and looks for alliance in two different ways;Thirdly,the system exports the party's policy on the Indigenous people;At the end,in the feedback of the system,the study analyzes the actual impact of the movement through analyzing whether the policies meet the input of the political demands.The research shows that in order to win the votes and support of the Indigenous people,the blue and green political parties responded to the original demands with their commitments.But their policies have not reached the indigenous people's core political demand related to the Indigenous people's land and autonomy.It must be acknowledged that,the authority has remained in the form of respect on the indigenous people in the 30 years.
