Research On Social Support System Of The Employment Of Disabled People Based On The Analysis F Community Of Gulou District In Nanjing

Disability is an inevitable phenomenon in human society,and disabled people are a vulnerable group in society.People with disabilities suffer long-term injuries in their physical,mental,intellectual or sensory senses and have certain obstacles in their social life.Therefore,it is often difficult for them to participate fully and effectively in society and to be treated equally with others.On the other hand,employment is the basis of people’s livelihood.For disabled people who have the ability to work and reach the age of employment,employment is also the basis for their survival and development.Under the current market mechanism,the ability and conditions of workers are the basis for their value evaluation.Those who do not meet the requirements of the employer are often excluded from the labor market,and the disabled groups are also included.Welfare pluralism provides a new perspective for China’s current formulation of social policies.This also leads to the development of social welfare,enhances people’s well-being,and provides the solution to many social problems.It will also bring new impetus to the employment support work for disabled people in China.Welfare pluralism theory believes that social welfare should be shared by multiple entities,in which the government assumes the role of manager and regulator,and must actively guide other departments to share responsibility.Supporting the employment of disabled people is not only conducive to the improvement of the welfare of the disabled,but also to the overall increase in social welfare.This study takes the employment support work for disabled people in F community of Gulou district in Nanjing as the research object.Based on the investigation of the employment situation of disabled people in the community and the actual support of the government,the market,China Disabled Persons’ Federation,non-profit organizations,communities,their families and their social networks for the employment of disabled people in the community,combine with the relevant policies and regulations in China and the development of social welfare organizations for the disabled in China,it summarizes and analyzes the problems existing in the current employment support for disabled people.It is further proposed that welfare pluralism should be adhered to in this issue to improve the social support system for the employment of disabled people,and to promote the participation of the government,the market,the Disabled Persons’ Federation,non-profit organizations,communities,families with disabilities and their social networks.It is also proposed that the system can include the following three levels:internal support system including family and social networks,middle support system including community and non-profit organizations and external support system including the government,the market and the Disabled Persons’ Federation.While ensuring their own growth space,they should also strengthen their cooperation and linkage.In the end,the integration of employment support for the disabled will be realized,so that the problem can be solved better and more effectively.So that people with disabilities in the whole society can work equally and actively.
