The inheritance law of Islam is not only a legal system but also a religious system in Arab countries.The inheritance law of Arab countries fully follows the Islamic law.According to the Islamic inheritance law,when someone dies,most of his inheritance is transferred to his heirs and representatives.These transferable rights include property,use rights and all other subsidiary rights.The inheritance system of Islam includes distribution schemes around a wider family circle.The difference between the assets received depends on the responsibilities that each person has to deal with.However,there are strong prejudices against women's social roles.Therefore,when she gains the rights she deserves,women's share of inheritance becomes meaningful.With the improvement of internationalization level and the development of Arab social and economic life,people's ideological concepts continue to expand and cognitive breakthroughs.Traditional inheritance law faces many problems and shortcomings.With the development of Islamic law,the Koran has been incorporated into many concepts and regulations that keep pace with the times,and the inheritance of men and women in the typical Arab world is not.The fairness should be improved continuously,and women's rights should be guaranteed.This paper focuses on the inheritance law of Arab countries,focusing on its historical origin,development process and current situation,and taking Egypt's inheritance law as the main case,carries out a horizontal and vertical comparative analysis,and studies its merits and demerits,aiming at providing reference for the development of Arab countries' inheritance law in the future and for scholars at home and abroad,so as to achieve the popularization and communication of knowledge level.
