Patent system is the most effective measure to protect the frontier of technology and invention.The meaning of "patent" is to protect the achievement produced by ideas under the premise of thoughts,and to give monopoly protection to it for a period of time.Thailand is on the list of the "One belt and one road" initiative,the study of its patent system is going to make positive significance to the economic and intellectual property cooperation between China and the countries along the route.Although Thailand's patent system started relatively late in its intellectual property protection system,it has been reformed to cater to the development trend of the country.Thailand's legal provisions are elaborate,and its own legal system has also developed well than other Southeast Asian countries.The development and protection of Thailand's patent system are unique,especially the compulsory licensing of patents in developing countries.Patent development of China grows fast recently,but patent protection overseas is still relatively slow.With the era of economic and trade globalization,it will bring some obstacles to the countries' development.Therefore,it is necessary to make research on other's patent law.After the establishment of the Thai Patent Act.there are few articles on the holistic approach of Thai patent system in China.This thesis discusses the Thai Patent Act aiming to enable reader to understand the Thai Patent Act systematically,and help to analyze the related issues of the Thai Patent System in the research or practice.This thesis consists of five parts:Chapter 1 of the thesis analyzed the legislative background for Thai Patent Act and its historical development.Chapter 2 of the thesis discusses the legal framework of Thailand's patent system.Chapter 3 of the thesis discusses the main contents of Thailand s patent system,including substantive and procedural provisions.Chapter 4 of the thesis analyzed the characteristics of the Thailand's patent system.Chapter 5 of the thesis make the recommendations to Chinese patent protection and the application of patents by enterprises and individuals in Thailand through the domestic and foreign legislative experience.
