An Analysis Of Social Trust Of Empty Nest Elderly In China And Its Influencing Factors

With the advancement of population aging,the number of empty-nest families in China is increasing year by year,and empty-nest families will gradually become one of the main family forms in urban areas of China.Trust is one of the most important comprehensive forces in society.It is of great benefit to improve the physical and mental health of the elderly and the quality of life of the elderly.However,as China's society enters a period of comprehensive transformation,more and more vicious incidents are caused by the lack of social trust,and there are many cases of the elderly living alone being deceived.Under the background of "Not Preparing for the Old" and"Trust Crisis",this study takes empty nest elderly as the research object,using the data of China Comprehensive Social Survey(CGSS2015),to explore the social trust status of empty nest elderly and its influencing factors.In the specific research design,first of all,through comparative analysis,we find that the overall level of social trust of empty nest elderly is higher than that of non-empty nesters,and the social trust structure of empty nest elderly presents an onion structure whose trust level decreases from inside to outside according to the kinship and geographical relationship.Then,factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used to confirm that four factors,namely,social and economic status perception,frequency of community interaction,frequency of social interaction and media usage frequency,have significant effects on the social trust level of empty nest elderly.Finally,based on the research results,some suggestions are put forward to improve the trust structure of empty nest elderly from the perspectives of individual,family,community and national society.This study is divided into six parts:The first part,introduces the research background,research status at home and broad,research ideas and research methods;the second part,the relevant literatures at home and abroad are sorted out.;the third part,defines the relevant concepts and elaborates the specific rese arch design;the fourth part,comparing empty-nest elderly and non-empty-nest elderly;the fifth part,using multiple linear regression,analyzing empty-nest elderly.The sixth part summarizes the research results,puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions,and finally summarizes the shortcomings and prospects the future research direction.
