The Nation-state And The Individual Mutual Recognition

Mutual recognition is the way to overcome the confrontation between the nation-state and the individual and achieve unity among the subjects.As a concept of political philosophy and moral philosophy,mutual recognition is that Hegel is elucidated by Fichte's concept of "recognition" combined with Hobbes' "struggle" thought.In order to achieve the unity of the individual and the nation-state,this study starts from the relationship between the nation-state and the individual in the academic field,and how the nation-state and the individual realize mutual recognition in the academic field.The field characteristics of the Congregation are used to examine the relevance of the relationship between the nation-state and individual recognition,to extract the basic recognition model of the structure of Honneth's empirical research,trace the source of Hegel's philosophy of recognition,and to use the content of the ceremony,combined with the personal recognition of the psychological experience in the Congregation,explores the basic recognition mode of the nationstate and individual recognition of the academic field and its specific recognition medium,and aims to further consolidate the relationship between individuals and the nation-state in the academic field.The congregation of Hong Kong Chinese University relies on the structural characteristics endowed by the academic field,adhering to the national spirit and national beliefs,and spanning the time and space of sovereignty,taking the lead in exploring the road to mutual recognition between the motherland and the individual.As a ritual of recognition,the congregation is a concentrative presentation of the customs and traditions of degrees conferment within the academic community.The CUHK has held congregations to link up and integrate the everyday life of the nation-state and its citizens.And the experience of the reshaping of conviction and practice,local and state,individuals and ethnic groups in CUHK's congregations shows that the mutual recognition between the nation-state and the individual requires the maturity of governance philosophy and the raising of governance level.Through the three-dimensional co-mediation of love,rights and solidarity,individuals are endowed with the recognition experience of pride,self-esteem and self-respect,thus creating a social community with harmony,justice and solidarity as well as achieving the union and development of the academics.
