The Influence Of Public Expenditure Type Of Special Fund On Donation Income

Special funds are an important way to integrate social resources,promote the public to participate in charitable donations,and cultivate awareness of donations.In recent years,some foundations have blindly pursued the growth of the number of special funds,neglecting post-event supervision,resulting in a decline in the enthusiasm of the public to donate and harming the interests of donors.In 2015,China issued the "Notice on Further Strengthening the Management of Foundation Special Funds",stating that the Foundation should play a supervisory and management role for special funds.With the gradual increase in the number of foundations in China,the number of special funds has also increased significantly in recent years.The “Free Lunch” special fund set up by the China Social Welfare Foundation has received a donation income of 460 million,and the donation income attracted by the special fund.It should not be underestimated.However,how the special fund affects the income of the donation and how to obtain a higher donation income is extremely important.This study mainly discusses the relationship between public welfare expenditure types and donation income,which has certain reference significance the establishment and management of special funds.This paper first defines the concept of special fund,public welfare expenditure type and donation income,the Maslow's demand theory and the marketing theory for theoretical analysis,and reviews the status quo at home and abroad,from the research status of special and the influencing factors of donation income.Review and derive research hypotheses.Then review and analyze the development status of foundations and special funds.In the empirical study,the donation income is the explanatory variable,the public welfare expenditure type is the explanatory variable,the other variables are used as the control variables,and 253 special funds are used as the research samples.Stata15.0 is used for correlation analysis,multiple regression analysis and interaction analysis.To explain the relationship between variables.The empirical results show that the type of public fund expenditure of the special fund,that is,the service field and the service target,is significantly positively correlated with the donation income,and both of them play a positive role in promoting the donation income.Different from the public's views on traditional donations and fields,the establishment of innovative special funds can also achieve high donation income.Therefore,relevant suggestions are put forward: improve the relevant legal system of special funds;develop new service areas for special funds;increase public welfare investment for vulnerable groups;Improve the marketing strategy of the special fund;and enhance the credibility of the fund.
