Research On Legal Protection Of Personal Information

As the information technology developed,personal information is no longer merely the carrier of privacy,but also depicts individual "digital personality" or "virtual image",which gradually integrated into society,economy and people’s life.The misapplication of personal information will both invade personal privacy and bring personal economic,spiritual,personal injury,which will even endanger personal safety.On this basis,the protection of personal information has attracted increasing attention.As a public security law enforcement officer for a long time,I have a deep understanding of the dangers of personal information disclosure,and try to explore the legal protection of personal information from the perspective of public security law enforcement.This paper is divided into three parts.At first,we explore the dilemma of personal information protection and the challenges to public security law enforcement from the crisis of personal information.Secondly,we deeply analyze the practice of public security law enforcement in China’s personal information protection from the mainstream legal protection model of personal information in the world and the current situation and insufficient considerations of China.Finally,we try to construct a personal information legal protection system with Chinese characteristics rely on the perspective of public security law enforcement from the national conditions of our country,exploring and improving public security law enforcement system about the protection of personal information.This paper believes that the key to personal information protection is to speed up the construction of a legal protection system for the improvement of personal information,strengthen legal supervision of information collectors,managers and users through legal regulation and joint enforcement by various government departments.And by increasing the punishment for infringement of citizens’ personal information security,developing privacy protection technologies and other measures to make up for loopholes in China’s personal information protection,I hope the tragedy of "Xu Yuyu case" will not happen again.
