Compilation And Analysis Of Social Security Index In China

Social security system is one of the most important modern social and economic systems in a country.The level of social security development reflects the ability of a country or region to guarantee the basic survival and living needs of its social members in the face of difficulties or disasters.It is an important indicator to measure the level of national and regional development.But now the prevailing concept of development is extensive,and many areas are loyal supporters of "GDPonly theory".This concept of economic supremacy,even at the expense of the welfare of social members,is obviously undesirable.It is very meaningful to measure the status quo of social security and quantify the level of social security development,so as to put forward social security support policies and integrate the level of social security into the concept system of development.The concept of Human Development Index(HDI),which is widely used and comprehensively defines the concept of development,is an important reference for international horizontal comparison and policy formulation by relevant domestic departments.With the continuous improvement of HDI index compilation and the new development concept of adapting to local conditions and keeping pace with the times,the concept of CHDI of China's human development index emerged as the times require.Based on the actual situation of China's development,CHDI adds a sustainable development index consisting of carbon emissions and investment in scientific and technological innovation to the traditional index system of HDI income,education and life expectancy,and a livelihood index consisting of social security index and Engel index.Based on the current situation of social security development in China,which is widely concerned by the whole society,and as a supplement to CHDI,this paper compiles the social security index of all regions in China.It focuses on displaying and analyzing the development situation,development speed and development prospects of the social security index,and compares the development balance of the national social security index.Spatial econometric method is used to analyze the differences in the development of the national regional social security index.The convergence of the social security index in the past 29 years is considered by using the beta convergence theorem of economic development.Finally,Data Envelopment Analysis is used to analyze the efficiency of the implementation of social security policy.
