Xi Zhongxun is our party’s outstanding proletarian revolutionist,he succeeded in creating the Shaanxi-Gansu border revolutionary base,become the strong rear of the Chinese Red Army;he successfully led the people of Guangdong to set things right,to lay a good start for the cause of reform and opening up;he is committed to the party building in the new period and the central institutional reform,contribute to the cause of socialist construction.As a "leader of the masses" who came out from the masses,no matter where he was or what position he was,he always had a profound understanding of the people,as long as he had the opportunity to penetrate into the masses and listen to the people,"worry about the people of the worries" is his true portrayal.Mass work accompanied by Xi Zhongxun’s life,although in his writings did not make their own view of the masses,but by the Marxist concept of mass and the Communist Party of China mass impact,everywhere shining "light of the masses",In the text and work everywhere practicing the "mass line" for the Chinese Communist Party’s mass concept into a new connotation,while enriching the Marxist theory of China’s treasure house.Under the guidance of Marxist theory,this paper makes a systematic summarization and theoretical analysis of Xi Zhongxun ’s mass thoughts by using the reading and analysis of the literature and the historical facts.The first part mainly elaborates the forming conditions of the mass ideology,including four aspects: the origin of the theory,the background of the times,the influence of the family,the environment of the school and the basis of practice.The second part mainly makes a systematic review of the development process of the masses thought of Xi Zhongxun,and concretely delineates the budding stage,the forming stage,the mature stage and the deepening stage,grasping the mass thought from the historical angle.The third part and the fourth part are the main body of the article.Based on the historical materials such as Biography of Xi Zhongxun and the collection of anthologies,the main contents and distinctive features of Xi Zhongxun’s mass thoughts are systematically discussed.The fifth part mainly analyzes the practical enlightenment of its mass thought,mainly from the four aspects of opposing bureaucracy,enhancing study ability,paying attention to institutional reform and selecting cadres,seeking the conjunction of history and reality,and providing useful reference for mass lineeducation practice.
