The Research Farmers'Hygiene Propaganda Work In Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region During The Period Of Comprehensive Anti-Japanese War

During the comprehensive anti-Japanese war,the CPC carried out a series of work in the political,economic and cultural fields of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region,making important contributions to the construction of various undertakings in the Border Region.Medical and health construction is an important part of it.Before the arrival of the Long March of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in northern Shaanxi,the weather in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region was harsh,diseases and infectious diseases prevailed,and farmers lacked the basic hygienic awareness and good hygienic habits,which made it difficult to guarantee their health.In order to change this backward health situation and promote the health awareness of farmers in border areas,especially to solve the problem of "the prosperous people are not prosperous",The Border Region Government has adopted various effective propaganda methods to publicize the health knowledge urgently needed by farmers,and achieved good results,thus providing important human and material support for the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan.The full text is divided into five parts.The first four parts systematically study the necessity,main body,main contents and propaganda methods of farmers' health propaganda in border areas.In order to improve the backward health consciousness of farmers in the border areas,solve the realistic problems of "prosperous people" in the border areas,promote the development of health undertakings in the border areas and mobilize farmers to participate actively in the War of Resistance,the government of the border areas has adopted various ways to publicize the health of farmers.In addition to holding a series of health thematic activities,such as health exhibitions,healthcompetitions,creating health models and formulating health conventions,the Border Region Government also creatively combines health publicity with social and educational campaigns,literary and artistic activities and folk activities in the Border Region.The health propaganda should be carried out in the form that farmers like to hear and like,so as to mobilize the enthusiasm of farmers to participate in it and enhance the actual effect of the propaganda.The propaganda content is to guide farmers to break away from superstitious ideas and believe in science as the primary goal,take the maternal and infant health as the main object,take the prevention of infectious diseases and common diseases as the important content,and take the prevention and treatment of livestock diseases as the important supplement.The main propaganda subjects are primary school teachers in rural areas,rural cadres and rural medical teams dispatched by border health organs.They are conscientiously responsible and actively working,contributing their own light and heat to the peasant health propaganda work.The fifth part summarizes the characteristics,historical achievements and shortcomings of the rural health propaganda work in the border areas on the basis of the previous four parts.Influenced by factors such as propaganda subjects,methods and objects,the rural health propaganda in border areas presents five characteristics: farmers' needs-oriented,multi-channel and multi-faceted propaganda strategies,obedience to farmers' psychology,use of local Putonghua,combination of positive and negative examples,and emphasis on facts and effect propaganda.Through seven years of health popularization and propaganda for farmers in the border areas,the health status of farmers in the border areas has been improved,the social atmosphere in the rural areas has been improved,and the identity of farmers in the border areas to the CPC regime has been enhanced.However,influenced by the quality of individual propagandists,there were some deficiencies in the peasants' health propaganda work in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region during the period of the Anti-Japanese War in an all-round way.A systematic study of the peasant health propaganda in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region during the period of the Anti-Japanese War will not only help us toinvestigate the positive actions of the government of the border region in the peasant health propaganda from the perspective of people's livelihood,but also enrich the research contents in the field of medical and health in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Nin In addition,it has certain practical enlightenment for building beautiful countryside,Promoting Rural Revitalization Strategy and improving farmers' comprehensive literacy.
