At present,China's social development has entered a new era. While China's economic and social development is in full swing, the changes and complexities of social contradictions have also followed. The main social contradictions have been transformed into the people's ever-growing needs for a better life and inadequate balance development. The contradiction between development and uncoordinated development of urban and rural areas is a major issue that must be addressed and must be resolved in building a well-to-do society and accelerating socialist modernization.Faced with the practical problems of uncoordinated development of urban and rural areas, the 19 th CPC National Congress emphasized the need to build a social governance structure for common governance and sharing, and promote coordinated urban and rural governance to improve and solve the unbalanced urban and rural development in China, achieve mutual governance between urban and rural areas, and promote urban-rural coordination. On the basis of synergetics, the theory of collaborative governance combines organically with governance theory, emphasizing that under the common strategic goals, all subjects are equal in cooperation and common governance, and jointly promote the coordinated development of the entire society. The characteristics of multiple theories and common goals of this theory are closely linked with the process of promoting the integration of urban and rural areas. The interaction between urban and rural areas complements each other. This paper comprehensively uses the theory research method, system theory method and case study method to analyze the basic connotation of urban-rural integration, social governance, and urban-rural collaborative governance, and clarifies the theories and policy guidelines of Marxism and the Chinese Communist Party on urban-rural relations and development.Explain the change process of China's urban-rural relationship and the new requirements of urban and rural social development based on the new changes in urban and rural development in the new era.At the same time,it also specifically analyzes the intrinsic link between coordinated governance theory and the development of urban-rural integration.Secondly, taking Yidu City as a case,it thoroughly analyzes the overall thinking and concrete practice of urban and rural coordinated governance in Yi City, sums up the effectiveness in the process of urban and rural governance, and the weakness of the rural economic foundation, the lack of participation of urban and rural governance subjects, and the inadequate communication and significant differences between urban and rural governance capabilities. On this basis, profoundly analyzes the reasons for these problems. Finally,on the basis of the specific analysis of Yidu City and the lessons learned from the specific practices,to seek specific ways to promote coordinated urban and rural governance, from the main mechanisms of collaborative governance, urban and rural economic and social, urban and rural public services, urban and rural ecological environment. This article points out the specific background and urgent needs of the coordinated governance of urban and rural areas in the new era.Based on the previous urban and rural social governance,it explores the deepening and innovation of coordinated governance of economic, social, and ecological aspects of urban and rural areas, and has promoted urban and rural areas and development of collaborative governance theory to some extent.
