A Study On The Historical Process And Experience Of The Sinicization Of Marxism In The Past 40 Years Of Reform And Opening-up

The Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has brought China into a "new era" of reform and opening up.The 40 years of reform and opening up are actually 40 years of great awakening of the Communists of China through emancipating their minds.For 40 years,the Communist Party of China has not only been committed to the development of China's economic construction,but also attached great importance to the development of Marxism in China.From this,we can see that the development of economic construction is closely related to the promotion of the Sinicization of Marxism.Starting from the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee,this paper reviews the glorious course of reform and opening up in the past 40 years.Great changes have taken place in Chinese society and fruitful results have been achieved in reform and opening up.The reason is not only that the factor of socialist market economy system plays a driving role,but also that it is the result of interweaving many factors,especially the Sinicization of Marxism.By studying the historical process and experience of the Sinicization of Marxism in the past 40 years of reform and opening up,it is of huge theoretical and practical significance not only for strengthening and improving the Party's construction,maintaining the Party's advancement and purity,but also for adhering to the basic line of the primary stage of socialism and unswervingly taking the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Based on the existing literature,this paper first makes a preliminary exposition of the origin,connotation and value of the proposition of Sinicization of Marxism.The proposition of Sinicization of Marxism was gradually abstracted and generalized by Comrade Mao Zedong in the process of exploring China's Revolutionary Road on the basis of anti-dogmatism andempiricism.Its connotation includes the following three points: the localization of Marxism in China means the realization of the materialization of Marxism;the summary of practical,historical and cultural experience through the study of Marxism;and the realization of the nationalization of Marxism.In a word,by discussing the proposition of Sinicization of Marxism,we can not only promote the development of the theory and practice of Sinicization of Marxism,especially the emergence of Mao Zedong Thought,the first theoretical achievement,but also help to overcome the tendency of dogmatism,thus laying the foundation of the Party's ideological line.Secondly,based on the preliminary understanding of the proposition of Sinicization of Marxism,this paper focuses on the historical process of Sinicization of Marxism in the past 40 years of reform and opening up from the perspective of theoretical innovation of the four generations of Central Leadership Collectives with Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin,Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping as general secretaries.In this process,based on the basic national conditions of the primary stage of socialism,the Communist Party of China creatively answered four major thematic issues: what is socialism and how to build socialism;what kind of party to build and how to build the party;what kind of development to achieve and how to develop;what kind of socialism with Chinese characteristics to adhere to and develop,and how to adhere to and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Finally,by analyzing and studying the historical process of the Sinicization of Marxism in the past 40 years of reform and opening up,five basic experiences are summarized.They are that we must adhere to the guiding position of Marxism,not follow the closed and rigid old road,not take the evil road of changing banners and flags;we must adhere to emancipate the mind,seek truth from facts;we must keep pace with the times and constantly promote theoretical innovation;we must adhere to the people-centered;we must correctly handle the relationship between top-level design and crossing the river by touching stones.Only by grasping these five experiences can we make great progress in our reform and opening up andsocialist modernization.
