With the development of military technology,the competition for air superiority between countries has become stronger and stronger,and the air defense capability is becoming more and more important to national security.The infrared warning system has the characteristics of concealment and all-weather work,and has gradually become one of the important members of the national air defense deployment in recent years.Infrared small target detection technology is the key technology of infrared early warning system,and it is a hot research direction in the field of image processing.Based on an infrared warning project,this paper focuses on the small target detection technology in the air.Because the system has strict requirements on real-time performance,and the input image has high field frequency and large amount of data.Image filtering methods based on frequency domain and other overly complex algorithms cannot be effectively operated on hardware platforms.In this paper,based on the comprehensive requirements of real-time and detection effects,the infrared image denoising method based on airspace and infrared small target detection method are studied.Among them,the small target detection based on background suppression,Harris corner detection and small target detection based on scale filtering are studied,and the comprehensive judgment method of suspected targets detected by three algorithms is proposed.At the same time,the target track is established by using multi-frame information to improve the reliability of detection.Through simulation experiments,it is verified that the method can effectively detect small targets.According to the project requirements,the hardware structure based on DSP+FPGA is designed.Use FPGA to complete image data acquisition,composite image output and peripheral circuit control.The TMS320C6674 uses multi-core parallel processing to achievetarget detection algorithms,target judgment and RS422 serial communication.Finally,the software modules of the DSP were designed and comprehensively debugged on the hardware platform.
