Research On The Attraction Of Urban Public Service Supply Level To Floating Population

The scale of floating population has increased with the increasing imbalance of regional economic development,reaching 253 million in 2014.In recent years,the total size of floating population has decreased,but it is still over 200 million.Are there different between the cities when floating population in the inflow of the city choosed long-term residence or the probability of permanent residence into the city? In the existing studies,economic factors are considered as the main influencing factors,so does the city's public service have an impact on the decision-making of the floating population? If so,what is the path of influence? These are questions worthy of further study.The study takes the floating population in the municipal districts of 38 major cities as the research object,and studies the influencing factors and mechanism of the long-term residence and migration of the floating population.The data analyzed are the 2016 floating population survey data of the national health and family planning commission and the 2016 data of the urban statistical yearbook.The research method is a hierarchical nonlinear model,which analyzes the influencing factors of the floating population's long-term residence and migration intention from two aspects,the individual characteristics of the floating population and the supply level of public services in the city.Study founds that the differences in the long-term residence and migration intentions of the floating population are largely explained by the individual characteristics of the floating population.At the city level,the worker average wage logarithm,primary student-faculty ratios,the number of bus for per ten thousand people,the urban road area per capita and the number of book for per one hundred people in the public library will have a significant effect of the floating population,and in the affecting the migration intend variables have primary school student-faculty ratios,the number of ten thousand doctors,the number bus per ten thousand people,the number of book for per one hundred people in the public library and urban green rate.In terms of interaction,in the study of residence intention,the logarithmic variable of the average salary of employees has a significant positive interaction with the variables of local housing purchase and residence time.The teacher-student ratio of primary school has a significant negative interaction with the logarithm of income.There was a significant positive interaction between the number of buses in ten thousand people and the local housing purchase variable,and a significant negative interaction between the number of buses in ten thousand people and the income logarithm variable.Per capita urban road area has significant positive interaction with flow range variables.The variable of the number of books for hundred persons in the public library has a significant positive interaction with the logarithmic variables of local house purchase and income.The number of doctors per 10,000 had a significant negative adjustment effect on age variables.In the study of migration intention,the student-teacher ratio of primary school has a significant negative interaction with the age variable.The number of doctors for per ten thousand had a significant negative interaction with age variables.The variable of the number of books for hundred persons in public library has a significant positive interaction with the logarithmic variables of gender,education level and income.The number of buses in ten thousand people has a significant positive interaction with the proportion of rent in income and whether there are minor children in the local area,and has a significant negative interaction with the logarithmic variable of income.Three Suggestions are put forward,the first is to focus on the development of public services and enhance the attractiveness of cities.The influence of public services on the floating population is becoming more and more obvious.Public services should be developed to attract talents and labor force needed by cities.Second,we will promote equal access to public services and share the fruits of economic development.The equalization of public services gives the floating population the same rights as the registered population.Third,the public service development plan should be made according to the talent demand of the city.
