With the rapid development of e-commerce,on the one hand,it has brought convenience and speed to people's daily life.On the other hand,the quality problems,false problems,logistics problems,and return problems that occur in the online shopping process also has plagued consumers.This is also the main reason for the surge in e-commerce disputes.From the long-term development of e-commerce,if we can't find an effective way to solve these disputes,it will inevitably affect consumers' confidence in e-commerce and hinder the further development of e-commerce.Because the traditional dispute resolution mechanism has been the problems of high cost,low efficiency,strong confrontation,etc.,it has been great incompatibility for solving e-commerce disputes.Therefore,it is necessary to establish a matching dispute resolution mechanism.ODR has a very good fit with e-commerce dispute resolution owing to its high efficiency and low cost.It is the best way to solve e-commerce disputes.Therefore,this paper is problem-oriented,based on the current prominent e-commerce disputes,focusing on the solution mechanism of ODR for e-commerce disputes,that is,the e-commerce online dispute resolution mechanism.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this article mainly includes three parts:The first part mainly discusses the characteristics of e-commerce disputes and the difficulties faced by traditional dispute resolution mechanisms in solving e-commerce disputes.At the same time,the basic principles of ODR are introduced,and the scope of ODR is clarified,explaining the advantages of ODR in solving e-commerce disputes.In addition,the paper introduces the development status of the online settlement mechanism of e-commerce disputes in China,and puts forward the problems of insufficient legal support,immature operational rules and inadequate social foundation.The second part largely introduces the EU Consumers ODR Regulations and the Technical Guidelines on Online Dispute Resolution issued by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.Meanwhile,it combines two important regulations,which expounds some enlightenments for constructing China's online dispute resolution mechanism from good experience and needs to be improved.According to the development of China's e-commerce online dispute resolution mechanism,the third part proposes relevant suggestions for improvement to develop in China's e-commerce dispute online resolution mechanism,combining with the enlightenments of the EU Consumers ODR Regulations and the Technical Guidelines on Online Dispute Resolution issued by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.
