Research On Government Regulation Of China's Live-Steaming Platforms

2016 is called the first year of China's Live-Steaming platforms,and the network live broadcast platform has emerged in a short period of time and has become an emerging self-media platform in the Internet era.With its characteristics of immediacy,interactivity and entertainment,the webcast platform brings new self-media experience to users in online games,shopping consumption,entertainment,training and education.However,due to the brand new nature of the Live-Steaming platforms,various violations of law and discipline,such as pornography,privacy protection,and infringement risks,have emerged in the course of development,which has impacted social security and the interests of the people.Faced with the new supervision of the webcast platform,China's government regulation faces new challenges.Therefore,in order to promote the healthy and orderly development of the webcast platform,feasible and effective measures must be taken to overcome the problems of government supervision in China,and strengthen the effectiveness of government supervision in China.The thesis firstly sorts out and elaborates on the topic selection background,research significance,and domestic and international research review,and makes a brief introduction to the research methods used in the thesis and the research framework of the thesis.Secondly,the concept definition of the network live broadcast platform and a brief overview of relevant research theories are laid out,paving the way for the following analysis and argumentation.Again,through the analysis of the government supervision laws and regulations,the government supervision system of the webcast platform,the pre-existing supervision of the webcast platform and the government supervision ability of the webcast platform,it raises regulatory issues such as imperfect laws and regulations,unreasonable regulatory systems,incomplete regulatory processes,and limited regulatory capacity.Then analyze the reasons for the problems of government supervision in China's online live broadcast platform,including the lag of laws and regulations,the imperfect legislative content,the unreasonable main body setting and the poor linkage effect of departments,the emphasis on pre-existing supervision and despising post-event supervision,talent quality and Four reasons for the low level of technology.Finally,from the aspects of perfecting the legal and regulatory system,creating a good regulatory environment,standardizing the main body setting,improving the government supervisionsystem,innovating the supervision means,realizing the whole process of government supervision,strengthening the supervision team construction and improving the government's supervision ability,it proposes countermeasures and suggestions to strengthen the government supervision of China's online live broadcast platform,and improve the effectiveness of government supervision,thus ensuring the healthy development of the network live broadcast platform.
