Geographical Indications is an object of intellectual property protection.It has not only attracted the attention of Chinese economists,but also attracted the attention of foreign scholars.Based on this,their research on geographical indications has deepened.Geographical indications have the nature of intellectual property rights,not only TRIPS Agreement has made detailed provisions in the protection of geographical indications,but also many countries have made clear requirements in their own laws,and many European countries have also formulated many related systems,which have played a positive role in the protection of food and agricultural geographical indications.Agricultural products from all over the country have their own local characteristics and obvious regional characteristics.After they get geographical indications,consumers will have a clearer and clearer understanding of their product information.Not only the information in production,but also the product characteristics will be displayed to consumers.Of course,this also gives producers a brand awareness on the other hand,which is tantamount to an intangible asset.Changbai Mountain in Jilin Province has a unique geographical growth environment and a unique ecological environment with a humid climate in the cold temperate zone.This is a natural advantage that ginseng in other regions can never achieve and surpass.In terms of intellectual property strategy research,this is a rare place.From the perspective of the protection of ginseng geographical indications in Changbai Mountain,this paper focuses on the important factors inconsistent with the legal system,and uses the relevant knowledge of intellectual property rights to analyze the development of geographical indications in Jilin region.The full text is divided into five parts.The first chapter is the background,research purpose and significance of the topic of Changbai Mountain Ginseng Geographical Indications Legal Protection,as well as a review at home and abroad.The second chapter is the analysis of relevant theories.Firstly,it defines a series of related concepts,which provides a theoretical basis for the study of this paper,and determines the object and content of this study.Secondly,it explores the significance of legal protection of geographical indications to provide legal theoretical support and explanation for this study.The third chapter is the comparison of legal protection of geographical indications in representative countries.Through in-depth analysis of international conventions and foreign protection of geographical indications,and making full use of their experience,this paper studies and analyses the current situation of legal protection of geographical indications in China on the basis of these,so as to further draw lessons from the legal protection system of geographical indications in China.The fourth chapter is the current situation of legal protection of geographical indications of ginseng in Changbai Mountain.This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the history,development and protection status of Panax ginseng in Changbai Mountains,and finds out various problems existing in the legal protection of geographical indications of Panax ginseng in Changbai Mountains.The fifth chapter is a series of suggestions to improve the legal protection of geographical indications of ginseng in Changbai Mountain.
