| With the rapid development of China’s social economy and the continuous improvement of people’s material and cultural level,automobile has become a walking tool for every household,which brings us great convenience and comfort.However,the frequent occurrence of road traffic accidents is threatening people’s life and property safety all the time with causing huge economic losses to the country.Road traffic accidents have become the most widespread,common and serious disasters in modern civil society.In order to minimize road traffic accidents,Emergency Call system(e-Call system)is proposed,which can connects manually or automatically to emergency rescue center through cellular network when a vehicle is in collision accident or serious malfunction durining the driving.And transmits some information,such as geographical location,driving direction,velocity and other information.Thus for emergency vehicles,the system can provide warning,rescue and traffice management services,i.e.,the integrated service.However,the existing e-Call system for the emergency rescue center is only limited to mastering the basic information,such as the location of an accident,which vehicle is in accident,the timestamp of an accident,and so on.It is also unable to grasp the scene of the accident in a timely and accurate manner.For example,the type of traffic accident,the number of accident personnel,is there a relationship between the accidents,and so on.Thus,which will lead to a problem that the emergency rescue plan and the emergency rescue work are not accurate and timely.In this paper,by analyzing all kinds of vehicle accidents in road traffic accidents,and considering that each vehicle in traffic accidents will have certain impact and damage,we defined the types of vehicle accidents according to the information,such as damaged area,driving direction of each vehicle.Based on the vehicle status information(MSD,Mnimum Set of Data)sent by each accident vehicle,this paper proposed a method of judging accident type with determining whether there is a correlation between accidents.After that,in order to supply the emergency call system in the emergency rescue center,this paper designed and implemented the method(provided by SDK)of judging accident type with providing some APIs.Finally,we deisgned and implemented a simulation tool using Unity3 D engine for evaluating our method.The method of judging accident type proposed in this paper is verified by simulation experiment.In the experiment,we simulate different road traffic accident scenarios.Under different road traffic accident scenarios,we compare the results obtained by PhysX physical engine in Unity3 D engine with that obtained by our method.Experimental result shows that the proposed method has accuracy and reliability in judging single vehicle accidents and vehicle-to-vehicle accidents. |
