Compared with the national school system,social education is a general educational activity outside the school system carried out by the leading class in the whole society for the purpose of improving the level of national cultural knowledge,ideological awareness and common values.The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to the cause of social education,especially during the period of the Anti-Japanese War.Back history,the Communist Party of China is struggling in Shandong province situation before the total resistance.May 25,1928,the revolutionary army of workers and peasants red army was formally established in China,but until November 1935,the former Shandong province has yet to build up a red army,people displaced,and had even contact the central lost for more than two years.However,After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,there were 35 million people and 300,000 troops in Shandong Counter-Japanese Base Area.These people formed a strong united front,united and annihilated 600,000 enemies,accounting for one third of the total number of armed forces annihilating the enemy,and became the main force in the war of liberation.It goes without saying that how our party educates and mobilizes the masses,creates and develops revolutionary base areas from scratch and leads the victory of the war of resistance against Japanese aggression is a profound science.Starting from reviewing the reasons for the implementation of social education in Shandong Counter-Japanese Base Area.During the Anti-Japanese War(1931-1945),this paper Outlines the theoretical origin and practical basis for the implementation of social education by the communists in the base areas in terms of marxist theory,traditional education,modern thoughts,party tradition and geographical conditions.In the process of carrying out social education in in Shandong Counter-Japanese Base Area,the communist party of Shandong always adhered to the new democratic social education theory of the CPC central committee,emphasized that "Society is a big school",and demanded that the "Iron wall" of the masses be built through social education.In addition,the communists also "localized" the new democratic social education thought according to the unique provincial conditions of Shandong,and summarized the national,scientific and popular "Shandong wartime national education thought" and "Shandong new culture movement" thought.Vertically,the social education in Shandong Counter-Japanese Base Area experienced a process from small to large,from scattered development before the war to the confusion and hesitation after the September 18 incident,to the turning of the tide in 1936,and then to the prosperity and growth after the united congress in 1940.In this process,the Communists in Shandong Province have formed a variety of education contents from the perspectives of ideology,politics,national defense,cultural knowledge and production technology,with the winter school movement as a typical example,the club as the central organization,as well as the folk schools,night schools,newspaper reading groups,mass theatres,public education centers and the "Chuang Hu school" with Shandong characteristics Education mode,which makes the social education cause supported by the majority of activists(there are also a small number of middle elements who are indifferent and wavering and backward elements who resist and oppose).Through unremitting efforts,great achievements have been made in social education in the base areas: the people have raised their political awareness,enriched their cultural life,aroused their enthusiasm for resistance against Japan and promoted women's liberation.Of course,in the process of carrying out the social education in the Shandong Counter-Japanese Base Area,there were also shortcomings such as the lack of clear direction in the specific implementation and the neglect of the importance of school education.However,our party has always adhered to the principle of seeking truth from facts,and continued to explore and correct these deviations.At present,China has entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and all kinds of social conflicts have become more prominent.Serious class differentiation and widening gap between the rich and the poor have led to low participation in building a harmonious society and even serious political apathy.In addition,a few foreign hostile elements and western hostile forces wantonly denigrated China's image,and many people in the society questioned the national policy,and there were often some disharmonious voices in the society.Judging from the effect of social education in the base areas during the war of resistance against Japan,talents can be cultivated by schools,but the quality of the people and the cultivation of the people are far from enough.We must attach importance to social education and raise the quality of people outside schools.Teaching people how to correctly identify these voices and resist these erroneous statements is a science that requires the party to carry out scientific and vigorous social education.All history is contemporary history.By looking at history,we can face the reality and look forward to the future.From the research and analysis of the social education in Shandong Counter-Japanese Base Area,we can get the following enlightenment: the implementation of social education is the only way to grasp the ideological discourse power;The mass line is the party's fundamental line of work;Our party is the guardian,sublation and development of Chinese traditional culture;Combining theory with practice,policy "localization";Social education is an important means to improve the quality of the whole people and seek benefits for the people.Strengthening social education and improving the civilized quality of social members is one of the key factors of national rejuvenation.These precious experience revelation to the new era of social education work,will be for our new era cracking problems and difficulties of people thought,for the party today reveal ideological discourse,leading the socialist culture development direction to provide theoretical support,at the same time to improve pertinence and effectiveness of education play a good reference.It will also stimulate people's enthusiasm for participating in the building of a harmonious society and stimulate the vitality of the whole society,so as to achieve China's goal of completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects by 2020 and basically realizing modernization.
