The Practical Exploration Of Social Work Involved In The Criminal Trial Of The Court

Social work is not only a corrective function in the system of crime correction,but from the pretrial investigation,trial and sentence to the release of this judicial correction process,all stages need social work intervention.Social workers intervene in the trial process of criminal cases in the court to provide social work services for the defendants,relieve the psychological pressure of criminals and change the irrational cognition of criminals,so that the service objects can repent from the heart,so as to reduce the rate of recidivism and improve the judicial efficiency.However,at present,there are few mature models for social workers to participate in the court's criminal trial.The model of social work involving in the court's trial process to provide services for criminals is still in the initial stage in various regions,so I hope this study can provide useful experience for the development of relevant fields.Through the internship experience in the s judicial assistance and education project,the author elaborates on the case of one of the suspects,mainly using the method of case work,through interviews and consulting the cases of the service objects,the author finds that the service objects have problems in irrational cognition,legal awareness to be improved and family education.During the trial of the case,social workers also follow the trial procedures The service object may produce anxiety and stress problems,timely adjust and formulate corresponding correction strategies,and provide services based on cognitive behavior theory.Social workers provide services for the service objects in the process of court trial,which also causes social workers to encounter many difficulties in the service process,and can deeply recognize the challenges faced by the combination of social work and court trial.In view of these difficulties,the author also interviewed many other judicial social workers,summed up the difficulties of social work involved in the criminal trial of the court,and put forward some suggestions for reference.By exploring the specific path of social work involved in the criminal trial of the court,we can promote the improvement of Judicial Correction,promote the development of judicial social work at this stage,and promote the transformation of social work practical experience to theoretical knowledge.
