Since the eighteen Party’s Congress,Xi Jinping stood at the forefront of the times and revisited the youth’s ideal and belief education according to the new changes in the international pattern and the new goals of China’s development.He put forward a series of new viewpoints and new judgements on the youth’s ideal and belief education,enriched and developed the view on Marxist youth’s ideal and belief education,it was of great value to the growth of youth,the prosperity of political parties and the country.To study Xi’s view on youth’s ideal and belief education,first of all,we should make clear the basic problems of ideal and belief education.Based on the principles of ideal and belief education,this article explores basic issues such as the definition and essence of ideal and belief education,and analyzes the four basic elements of ideal and belief education and its significance to youth,political parties and the country.It provides basic theoretical foundation for the study of Xi’s view on youth’s ideal and belief education.Xi’s view on youth’s ideal and belief education has a clear and complete generation mechanism.This theory’s background of times is the macro grasp of international and domestic environmental challenges.The theoretical source is adhering to the Marxist view on youth’s ideal and belief education.The realistic basis is the realistic review on contemporary youth’s ideal and belief education;the subjective condition is the thoughts on youth’s ideal and belief education.Xi’s view on youth’s ideal and belief education embryos,initial forms,matures and realize new development in practice,it has experienced a process of continuous development and improvement.Around the logical theme of "what is the youth’s ideal and belief education and how to strengthen the youth’s ideal and belief education",Xi’s view on youth’s ideal and belief education constitutes a systematic theoretical system,which mainly includes four parts.First,the value goal of ideal and belief education.Xi Jinping pointed out that the ideal and belief education should reach the goal that youth firmly establish the Marxist Belief,strengthen the patriotic emotion and strengthen the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Second,the general requirements of ideal and belief education.Xi Jinping believed that the youth’s ideal and belief subjects of youth’s ideal and belief education.Xi Jinping puts forward a clear demand for the three subjects of youth ideal and belief education,including Party committee and Communist Youth League,school and family,it pointed out that the Party Committee and Communist Youth League should give full play to the leadership and bond role of the youth’s ideal and belief education,through the Youth Marxist Cultivation Project and the Youth Socialist Core Values Cultivation Project to cultivate a young Marxist who has a firm stand and has both morality and talent.Schools should carry out youth’s ideal and belief education in different categories,continuously strengthen the construction of teachers,coordinate and promote teaching and educating youth.Families should pay attention to the construction of family education and family atmosphere and give full play to the positive role of families in the development of youth’s ideal and belief.Fourth,the basic methods of youth’s ideal and belief education.In Xi’s opinion,the youth’s ideal and belief education must pay attention to the scientific application of methods of reading and learning,combining knowledge with practice,model demonstration,publicity and guidance.Xi’s view of youth ideal and belief education has very distinct characteristics,including:rigorous scientific character,distinctive epochal character,outstanding people’s character,plentiful practical character.The scientific character is mainly reflected in the guiding ideology and main content of Xi’s view on youth’s ideal and belief education.The epochal character is mainly reflected in Xi based on the world’s development pattern to enhance the level of youth ideal and belief,based on the"Chinese Dream" of the great revival to define the mission of youth.The people’s character is mainly reflected in the focus of Xi’s view on youth’s ideal and belief education is the interests of the people,and it points out the realistic path for youth to safeguard the interests of the people.The practical character is mainly reflected in Xi’s view on youth’s ideal and belief education origins from the practice of youth’s ideal and belief education and serves the specific practice of youth’s ideal and belief education.Xi’s view on youth’s ideal and belief education has both theoretical and practical values.The theoretical value is mainly reflected in Xi’s view on youth’s ideal and belief education enriched and developed the view on Marxist youth’s ideal and belief education,provided a theoretical basis for the development of youth’s ideal and belief education in the new era.The practical value is mainly reflected in Xi Jinping’s view on youth’s ideal and belief education provided a guide for promoting youth growth,effective protection for consolidating the Party’s ideological leadership and youth strength for the realization of the great "Chinese dream".
