From the transformation of toilets and excrement management in the "two tubes and five changes" in the 60 s and 70 s of last century to the invention and promotion of harmless sanitary latrines in the 90 s of last century,by the beginning of this century,the government led the construction of sanitary latrines,and to respond to the suggestion of "toilet revolution" proposed by general secretary Xi Jinping,the toilet problem has always been an important factor affecting farmers' health and environmental hygiene.As an important part of rural environment improvement,rural toilet reconstruction has become an important landmark project of Rural Revitalization Strategy.In recent years,local governments at all levels have actively promoted the transformation of rural toilets to improve the living environment.According to the statistical analysis of the data in the China Health Statistics Yearbook,by the end of 2017,217 million out of 265.5 million households in China had used sanitary toilets,and the coverage rate of sanitary toilets had reached more than 80%.Great progress had been made in the reconstruction of rural toilets in China.However,there are still some problems in the construction,use and maintenance of rural toilets.In this paper,on the analysis of rural toilet reconstruction,with the help of Gerry Stoke's governance theory,we study the achievements and problems of rural toilet reconstruction in J City,and analyze the specific reasons from the subjective and objective aspects,so as to effectively put forward the corresponding improvement methods,hoping to provide some reference for rural toilet reconstruction in J city.This paper takes J City as an example.The transformation of rural toilets in J city has greatly improved the living environment of villagers and effectively prevented the spread of disease,but there are many areas that need to be improved.This paper analyzes the existing problems in the transformation of rural toilets in J City by using the methods of literature research and interview.The paper is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction,focusing on the background,significance of the topic,domestic and foreign scholars on the current situation of rural toilet reconstruction.The second part focuses on the definition of "Rural Revitalization Strategy","toilet revolution" and "human settlements",and analyzes five core points of gri Stoke's governance theory.Thethird part is the analysis of four problems in the transformation of rural toilets in J city.The fourth part is to analyze the causes of the problems in the transformation of rural toilets.The fifth part is to propose the next improvement direction according to the local conditions.I hope that through the elaboration of this paper,it can be used for reference for the reconstruction of rural toilets in J City and promote the construction of new rural areas...
