Research On The Historical Evolution Of Regional Development Strategic Thought Since Reform And Opening Up

As a large developing country with uneven regional development,China's long-term and arduous task is how to achieve coordinated regional development.Since the reform and opening up in 1978,exploration has been carried out on regional development.From the regional imbalanced development strategy in the early stage of reform and opening up to the priority development of eastern coastal areas,and then to the mid-to-late 1990 s,China began to explore coordinated regional development and formulate And implemented strategic measures such as "Western Development","Rejuvenating Northeast Old Industrial Base",and "Rise of Central China",to a certain extent,reducing the gap between regions.However,China still faces major difficulties in realizing the coordinated development of the region.Since the reform and opening up,China's regional economic development strategy has gone through three development stages: an unbalanced development strategy,a coordinated development strategy,and a comprehensive development strategy.The evolution of regional economic development strategies not only reflects the strategic relationship between inheritance,development,and innovation,but also reflects the constant acceleration of the party and the state's exploration of socialism,and the internal laws of regional economic development are also continuously deepened..Based on the theoretical and practical foundations of regional development strategic thoughts,this article combines the characteristics of regional development strategic thoughts with the following aspects:(1)Relevant overview of regional development strategy ideas.From the academic perspective,it expounds the theoretical and practical foundations of China's regional development strategic thinking,describes the characteristics of regional development strategic thinking,and reveals the significance of regional development strategic thinking since the reform and opening up.(2)The historical evolution of China's regional development strategic thinking since the reform and opening up.Based on Deng Xiaoping's "two overall situations" regional development strategy thought,Jiang Zemin's regional coordinated development strategy thought,and Hu Jintao's coordinated regional development strategy thought as the main line,this paper studies the evolution of China's regional strategic thought since the reform and opening up.New exploration of strategic thinking of regional coordinated development.(3)The practical effects and empirical implications of China's regionaldevelopment strategic thinking since the reform and opening up.The economic,interregional,and functional effects are explained from three aspects.Since the reform and opening up,China has achieved good development results by implementing different regional development strategies under the guidance of different regional development ideas.It is determined from the "people-centered" and "different era characteristics."
